Single Mode and OS1 Fiber Optic Cabling

For single mode fibre optic we can install your requirements in various applications internally and externally. OS1 and OS2 fiber have a smaller internal core size compared to multimode fiber. Thus in many ways the installation of both categories is the same. However our design team will be able to advise you on the best solution for your environment technology and network requirements. Furthermore OS1 fiber cables are extensively found in audio visual installations and long haul connections.

Blown Fibre Cabling

Blown fibre cabling has the advantage of expansion of additional network links through initial installation of blown fibre cabling ducts. Thus additional cores are then blown in through the existing ducts and save the disruption of pulling in new cables. We are able to design, advise and install a full range of blown fibre cabling solutions. In addition we are able to install empty ducting cable for broadband providers such as BT to allow easier planning of works throughout your commercial space

Fiber Optic Terminations

We provide fibre optic terminations for ST, SC, LC, and MTRJ applications. The majority of modern fiber cabling links are generally terminated with LC connectors. However due to the longevity of Fibre installations SC, ST and MTRJ terminations are still found. Therefore we have the correct equipment for termination and testing. Likewise each connector requires a different testing launch lead so a set of professional testing equipment is essential. Finally we can also provide patch leads to incorporate the various terminations.

Fibre to Desk (FTTD)

Fiber Optic Fusion Splicing

We can offer the choice to splice your existing fibre optic cable. Thus allowing you to extend or relocate without the need to re-run the entire cable length. We therefore use Fusion splice machines at times to terminate new fibre optic cable installations. Futhermore to achieve minimal loss during terminating joints.

Fibre Optic Cabling Testing – OTDR

We test your existing cabling for faulty or suspected broken fibre optic cabling. In addition we find the exact point of failure along the cable. Thus enabling a corrective splice and therefore removing the need for new cabling and disruption.
